OLLO

The goal was to create a brand name that began and ended with the letter "O," symbolizing eyes for the CliC eyewear brand that was launching sunglasses. Initially, I was drawn to the name ORBO, inspired by the word "orbit," reflecting the glasses' unique patented design that wraps around your head, almost like they’re in orbit. However, I discovered that "orbo" translates to "blind," which completely contradicted the purpose of the glasses. From there, landing on the name OLLO felt natural. The two L's resemble the bridge of a nose, flanked by the two O's as eyes—perfectly capturing the vision I had in mind. Ultimately, CliC chose to launch their sunglass line under their existing brand. I still thoroughly enjoyed this creation.
