Brand Identity & Digital Experience

Located in Auckland's vibrant Ponsonby neighborhood, Daphnes is a Mediterranean-inspired restaurant created by husband-and-wife duo Joost and Clare van den Berg. Inspired by their travels through Europe, they envisioned a dining experience centered on shared plates, thoughtful hospitality, and an atmosphere that encourages guests to gather, linger, and connect.

Having spent years working in New Zealand's hospitality industry and as Studio Manager at White Studios, where I collaborated with leading creative agencies and production teams. I developed relationships that led to the opportunity to work alongside the owners during the development of the Daphnes brand. My contribution focused on shaping the visual identity through logo development, typography, color palette, illustration direction, and brand guidelines, helping translate the restaurant's warm, European-inspired vision into a cohesive and timeless identity that extends across print and digital touchpoints.
